ohm rating

well i neeed to bridge it into whatever ohm to one sub, i believe it was 850 @ 4 (god a hope sooooooo) i bought it cuz it was 500x2 so i thought it was 1000 watts

Not sure what you mean by "ohm rating".
But they were rated 250w x 2 @ 4ohm and 500w x 2 @ 2ohm I do believe.

i plan on just not for a while, need to save up some more, i think im gonna just go wit the type x components althou its a lil pricy :|

upgrade your frontstage/deaden/dampen your doors and it'll improve your midbass/highs and have a considerably noticeable difference.

Now that I have a massive headache from trying to descramble WTF you are asking //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

250 x 2 @ 4 ohms

400 x 2 @ 2 ohms

850 x 1 @ 4 ohms bridged

...all at 13.8v

1100 x 1 @ 4 ohms bridged at 14.4v

You'll need to show the amp a final load of 4 ohms, or run one VC per channel at 2 ohms.

ohh no way that would save me the trouble of briding the channels?

or is it better to bridge for power reasons ??

thanks for the info i wasnt sure wut load to wire it

I used this amp to run my front sound stage. For sub duty, you will need a sub with dual 2 ohm VC's wired in series to get 850 watts rms to it.

i got a dual voice coil, would i have bridge it or run one channel to one VC?

they got some diagams in my maual but i think it shows mono amp

what are the ohms of the voice coils, if you said already I missed it. If they are dual 2 ohm then run in 4 ohm load. If dual 4 ohm you need more amp. bridged This amp only wants a total of 4 ohms. Dont run 1 channel to each voice coil. It can be done but can have problems

Why don't you just paste a link to the exact sub you own so we can do this for you because it doesn't seem like you are willing to put forth the effort to learn how to do it correctly on your own.

i swear we just got swamped with complete noobs who don't kno what they're talking about or understand basic terms we use and who want to be sppoon fed. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif
