ohm load with strapped amps

thats the reason im not going to strap, as all say 2ohms. i rather have 1 amp per sub. but im sure some amps can be ran lower strapped as raptor said.

Amps will generally do around twice the power wired at .5 than 1 after rise. All efficiency and a lot of reliability goes out the window, though, so it's not worth it IMO. You save money on a smaller amp but it requires more electrical, more heat dissipation, and is more prone to failure.
