as far as I know, hicks signature would be considered illegal.

No advertising period. Even though I know a few people get away with it.

There are many people and dealers guilty of getting away with posting sales info in their sigs. Hell, almost all of the interweb car audio brands got their start by word of post advertising in people's signatures. Just take SSA for example, their logo is in tons of people's sigs, and now they got a sub line out? now im not bashing them or anything, but thats not too kosher either to do that in a sig..... I mean, if we're all going to get responsible and shit now - keep it fair.

hell even car audio teams associated such as "team kinetik" "team lanzar" "team Kicker" is pretty close to pushing it too then.

if you're going to be a little bitch about the topic, then make it equal for all or STFU

IMO, its sublimital advertising. I mean, your a newbie to this site and start reading the forums and see 15000 other n00bxis with FI q's in their sig, wouldnt you want to know what that product was ?

Some of you guys fail to realize how many times Low-Hz was let off the hook for blatantly disregarding the TOS here. I've said it before, on multiple occasions, I have edited/deleted posts/threads from Low-Hz employees that were against the rules, and they would simply re-edit/re-post and do it all over again. They were given plenty of breaks in the past, this wasn't a one-time thing that happened.

If a mod decided that they've had enough here, then so be it- we don't have a committee where us mods sit down together and all vote on a ban or not- we can use our own individual discretion when it comes to that matter.

If Showrides has a problem with what occurred, the right thing thing to do is take it up with the Admin- privately- not create another username and start whining on the board. That's happened plenty of times, and 99.9% of the time, that person will be banned very quickly thereafter.
