Official Reinstate Low-Hz Vote/Poll

so....people are upset now that this forum is run on the buddy system? since goob first went to a moderated forum adn since the mods are chosen from the top posters, hasn't that ALWAYS been the case? i mean, comeon, you spam, your a mod. but now, let's play fair, or not at all? whatever.

even though mark's sig was corrected (as per TOS), will this start a new trend? i doubt it. when the next big thing comes along, it'll start all over again. or the next mod vote. now, i read that TOS says no URLs are allowed, correct? so doesn't that mean any and all sigs will URLs shoudl be fixed? i mean, lets be fair, right? that's what everyone is screaming for.

personally, i don't care. i have different issues with ben/low-hz, one's that i would have banned them for anyway. mark and his ssa sig. well, whatever. but i think if you start down that road, you need to travel the whole road. don't halfass it.

i guess i jsut find it funny how a ******* like ben can get this kind of shit stirred, and a thread can get turned around. especially here, where it hasn't been about anything but clicks for a long time. all it's been about here is the biggest ethug, the biggest post count and if one can get elected to be a mod. realize that people. you want this place to change? follow through, and enforce TOS on everyone. then see what happens. otherwise, jsut let this place flow the way it has for the last 5-6 years. sooner or later the bad apples always get tossed, regardles of manner (ie: mark potts, cbfryman, low-hz, etc, etc) and life is good again.

i've tried, and guess what, i've caught way to much crap to give a shit anymore. its a shame really, seeing as im one of the few people that really gave a shit about this place. seeing as out of our 10(11 if you count me) mods, only 3-4 are actually active.

That's how I found out. It wan't until recently that I saw Don say he was a whatever dealer, and it wasn't even like he was trying to push product, he was more or less cracking a joke.
As I see it, the people on here that hate the mods and just don't get why they get banned remind me an aweful lot of the people that hate all cops, even though many of them are just good people trying to do a noble profession.

1. who is the MAIN mod that handles advertising on here?

2. is it ALLOWED to put a link in your sig to your site like i have seen, even now? what if it wasnt an exact clickable link, but just a banner with your product but cant be accessed by clicking on it?
