Official "CA.COM Fit Club" Thread.

I understand that completely, Should I just walk/jog 15-30 a day?? I only have 30# worth of dumbbells.
There has been tons of guys I am deployed with that have already dropped 20-40 lbs just from running a mile or two daily. And that is over just a couple of months. And if your endurance is not the best.. start out with sprinting for 30-60 seconds and walking 60/120 seconds.. and repeat.

3 weeks ago I stepped on the scale and beesch read 255. Iam only 5'8'' so you can imagine lol. Right now iam at 240 and Iam feeling great. I wake up every morning to do cardio and lift wieghts at night. I am very lucky because my job pays for its employes yo go to the gym 3 hours a week and that helps. Only supplements I am taking are a multi-vitamin and protien. Find a workout partner that will motivate you.
try to get off the protein pills...they are synthetic and your body doesn't process them the same. Lean meat provides all the protein you need

you do not need to exercise to lose weight at all, a healthy diet and some time will work, but exercise will work faster and ull feel better. if you just want to lose weight do not worry about what you do, just do something. The more cardio the better if you have no weights or little and want todo resistance training, push ups, dips off a couch, sit ups, and a ton other body weight excerises will help you out.

Sorry for the run on sentences and bla bla im tired Oh..and sleep as much as you can ideal is 8+ hours a night. Dont say but i can handle 4...sleep 8 if you can.

Its definitley time to start running/walking.

I have a HUGE cardio part time job at the UPS facility. Its like a 5 hour workout. No joke. I come out of a 100 degree warehouse, absolutley soaked from head to toe in sweat. Very fast, and alot of lifting.

im going to start eating good. I need to. Maybe a weight lifting plan?

he didnt say protien pills, and whats wrong with the shakes? They are cheaper then meat and easy to eat.

Yea plus I have a shake as soon as I wake up plus pre and post workout. I dont see my self eating a chicken breast first thing in the morning and in the locker room of the gym....lol

Yeah, lifting weights would be good too.. currently I do upper body one night.. then run the next.. then my lower half/abdominal.. try and switch it up so you don't get too bored with just one routine.

Go with some turkey, roast beef, and ham for decent deli meats for lean protein. Absolute best as already listed is any kind of grilled chicken. Gets tired after a while though. I know I'm sick of it. Anyone have any good recipes for some healthy grilled chicken other than with some kind of BBQ sauce?

I'm trying to gain weight. I've been buying gallons of chocolate milk and downing them.
