i don't have any pics to post but i ran across some subs the other day that i had never seen before and was wondering if anyone could identify them cause i cant seem to find pics or specs on them anywhere. they are old hifoncs woofers with a purple surround, if they're collect able i could probably get them for the low

Hifonics olympian series. Purple surround ,thick cardboard dustcap. Not really worth collecting.

Does anyone have any of the Power Acoustik Fire & Ice series amps? A lot of this stuff was before my time, I started getting into audio when Eclipse pro's, Kicker and JL Audio started coming out with amps, W6's first versions, Round Solo-Barics, and so on were out. Amazing how far back car audio goes.

those came out in the late 90's ...they were decent subs for Hifonics base line....and worked well in small boxes....
They did work pretty well, we sold them at the shop I worked at. We did a sealed wall in a guys s-10 with 6 of the 12's on a Soundstream 10.0.

Just looked kind of ghey with the puple trim.

this is a class A 4 channel pyramid.i dont know how many watts it is ?? i have the manual and it doesn't say....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif..(i showed this one already, but i had to show you the guts....)

it has my vote for the ugliest board in a car amplifier.....and it will get very hot , even without a load.....lol..if you didnt have heat in your car,you could literally put a fan on this badboy and keep warm....

I seriously remember those amps, friend of my cousin had one in the trunk of his Buick Regal years ago. Could cook an egg on the top of it durning the winter, and forget about it during the summer.

And yes, thats got to be the ugliest board I think I have ever seen.

My neighbor has this beat up Precision Audio Thump THA 2000 that he gave me, that suppose to work, but have not had the chance to try it.

I love this thread though, brings back alot of memories

Friend of mine had the 240watt sherwood. It was the shiistuff back in the day. He ran 2 15 enclosureless MTX Terminators behind the seat of an s10 with it..lol..These things got smoking hot too
