ive played it for 3 hours now and zero issues. it is possible you got a bad disc, it happens. just exchange it.

I hope maybe it was a fluke or something or either a bad disk. I'm about to try it again now to see what happens! I have only gotten to do 1 offensive play so far. Wish me luck! Do you guys know if there is anyway I can do the patch without having to get online with the PS3? I do my roster updates via downloading on my computer and transferring through a flash drive. Do you know if I can do that with the patch? I live in a summer town where we only have about 1000 people here outside of the summer so they don't run high speed out here and satellite internet is WAY to much so I use my HTC Touch to connect through my laptop which doesn't work with the Connection Sharing in the Network Connections. I use to get online like that with my Moto Q but can no longer do it with this phone. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

i think the reason i like this one so much right now is that you can tell they made an effort to make the game different instead of just slapping a new year on it and calling it new. a couple things i noticed so far are the plays i had last game that were almost sure touchdowns like a couple playaction passes that dont work so well anymore. i also noticed when you are playing in rain if you try and make ur guy cut too fast they slip in the water, thats kinda cool.

bought the collectors one so im about to play madden 93 and coach 09 haha

I got NCAA 09 on release day and said I won't get Madden, I will probably buy it after work though, lol.

yeah thats why i always make fun of all the retards that reserve and then go wait in a line to buy it. somewhere always has a ton of them. i always go to walmart and they got em no matter what. this year was the first year they let you buy it mon night though. that was pretty cool.
