Odd Question ...

I have a question that i know will sound odd and plan out stupid, but i'm limited on space in my truck. But to the question, Would running two separate enclosure with the same cubic feet and tuning but with different enclosure shapes be a bad idea? Please be honest who ever chooses to lend me some help ..

one being a square other a rectangle... but basically one under the seat (rectangle) and a center console box (square)

well both will be 2 cubes each and tuned to the same hz

just make sure the different placement doesnt cause any cancellation issues. You may have to aim the subs in different directions or alter the phase with the amplifiers.

why exactly are you wanting to run under the seat and center console?

but anyway. the center console box will likely over power the the one under the seat.

Here was another idea i thought of doing, this is a terrible drawing not to spec but for a idea. my back seat is a 40 / 60 slit i want to make a box for the entire floor and then a box for the 40 area to remove easy for road trips. Reason i want it one under the seat so i still have something for trips.. but here is a sketch up of my idea.

tell me if you think it will work, once again the boxes are separate.

Locations would cause time delays. You could fix it if you had a head unit with time alignment.
