Ordered a Kenwood KDC-X399 for a 2005 Dodge Ram 3500 Quad Cab. 7 Speaker Infiniti factory system.
Also have the Metra/Axxess CHT0-02 adapter to tie the receiver into the factory amp.
Also have the ASWC-1 Steering wheel adapter.
I wired up everything according to the Metra user guides. All connections are soldered and heat shrinked. Unused are snipped flush and also heat shrinked.
Audio sounds fine and continues to do so.
BUT when the volume hits 27 or above. The ABS light goes on, gas and temp gauges go to zero and headlights come on. When the volume is turned back down ABS and gauges come back.
I have quadruple checked the Wire harness. It's totally by the book. Reset the CHT0-02. Unplugged the steering wheel control adapter and even cut the brown mute Wire per Crutchfield (they've been great BTW, awesome support). They are sending out another CHT0-02.
Looking for any insight and figured the more eyeballs on this the better.
