Odd factory Ford subwoofer/dome light issue... Need installers help.

Got Bass?
Had a 2008 F-150 Harley Davidson edition come into the shop yesterday for a Parrot Blue Tooth phone kit. Not a problem figure nice easy install which it was until they pulled the truck outside...

Installing the Parrot kit requires cutting into the speaker wires as they now run through the Parrot module. I installed it the same way I have done in every other vehicle and it worked perectly. When they pulled the truck outside and opened up the door, the dome light would go on and cause the factory sub to make a humming noise //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif. I brought it back inside and double checked all my wiring which I found to be good. Took the kit out of the truck and made all the factory connections and the truck is still doing this.

The owner of the truck is bringing back on Monday. None of my co workers have ever seen an issue like this. Anyone have any idea what could be wrong?

Which speaker did you hook the parrot kit up to? Which kit was it?
I have put quite a few of these in f-150s and havent encountered this problem.
I hook up Parrot kits to the front speakers and it was the 3200 kit. This is the Harley F 150 with the factory sub. Truck is back in the shop, still can't get it to go away

money says the sub is at least amplified and something is traveling back through the factory amp turn on wire....has happened to me before with a parrot in a expedition...through a diode on the amp turn on wire and it killed it

Yeah I figured at least the sub is amped. Thats good info to know. Thanks. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Hmmm. Are the interior speakers amped or is it just the sub?
I toned them at the head unit and got them to tone out so I figured it was just the sub that is amplified

I'm gonna try this when I get to work hopefully it will work for me.

Thanks guys
