Just to put it in perspective... The interest payments on our current dept are 400 million dollars per day.

And, Obama has NOT asked them to CUT 100 million dollars from the current budget. He has asked them to REMOVE 100 million from their future budget. That is NOT the same thing.

With Obama, you must look far beyond what is said because everything is a trick.

Remember last week on April 15th Obama said that he had already cut taxes for 95% of Americans. What he actually did is lower the withholding rate so that you get a few more dollars in your paycheck(NOT a bad thing) BUT the tax rate has NOT been lowered so you will now owe MORE at the end of the year. Another of the many tricks on America.

The most recent trick was yesterday when the banks are actually trying to repay the bailout money but the government will not allow them to repay because now the government is going to convert the bailout/loan money into equity in the banks thus nationalising the banks in such a way that we have little that we can do about it.

I don't think its about democrat and republican and whoever thinks problems the govt has is strictly by party lines is very VERY naive. To think one man can do whatever he wants as prez without others in place to check him if they want is naive. You know why Bush didn't get alot done before 9/11? because Congress said "your ideas ****, we reject them."

Its early, we don't know how all of what Obama has planned will turn out. Stop worrying and do your part in making the country better. If you don't know what your part is well, i feel bad for you
