Not sure how it is supposed to sound. Help?

I just put 3 old ver. JL 10W6s in a ported box in my friends truck and I'm not sure how it's supposed to sound. I've installed single sub setups but never this many subs. It hits really hard but how do I know if it is supposed to hit harder or not as hard? Any songs or tones I can use to tell where to set it?
