18" Alpha vs. 2 RE SX 15''

amp is hifonics bxi 2608d at 14 volts. i know the alpha sounds good and gets loud but i have never heard an RE sub ? I'm trying to decide what to get and this is what it has come down to. what do you guys think ?

both subs mentioned are nice subs. i think i would go with 2 15s over 1 18.

thats what i was thinking as far as cone area but like i said i have never delt with an RE sub. i have an 18'' alpha in right now and love it but i want to go back to 15's so the alpha may be up for sale shortly.

i would grab a pair of AE AV 15s... loudder,cheaper and sound better...
