NOT grounding back battery to chasis, advantages?

well i have 2 runs of 1/0 already. rather than spend 30 more dollars for angeled adapter for the mojo, would it be best to just have a run for each pos and neg terminals between the 2 batteries and only use a single 1/0 for each pos and neg on the amp instead of 2 power runs to the back battery and grounding the back battery to the chasis? i have big 3 and that back battery grounding a dual 1/0 also, and itd be dual 1/0 power and grounds for the amp with the adapters.......
