No I'm not really chasing numbers (yet) I'm definitely not trying to be competitive. I just want my bug to be as loud as possible with the equipment that I paid for. Just tweaking in tuningIf you're chasing numbers, and trying to be competitive, do yourself a favor and just buy a meter. Doesn't need to be a TermLab if you're not doing clamped power classes, or if you don't have enough power to break out of that class anyway. SHOULD be one that is calibrated to a TermLab (SSA meter or SPL Labs meter).
up fire is fine as well I wouldnt use an 8 inch port unless you have a lot more power on tap like a 4-5k ampYeah I'm going to have the port on the new box pointing straight up. And half of the port external . Cuz I don't have enough room to shove it all the way down and flush mount it . I thought about side porting it.. but then when the back seats flipped up you can't see the big fat **** 8"Port I don't have any room 2 point it backwards. Without losing my backseat.
Another big killer is the ragtop. The whole roof is vinyl
Ugh. Don't say things like that. I already bought the port. I was repeatedly told that a 6-inch Port would not be enough Port volume and I would get a lot of port noise...up fire is fine as well I wouldnt use an 8 inch port unless you have a lot more power on tap like a 4-5k amp
Port noise is relative to input power a lot of setups with low power gained from less port area. When you start massively overpowering is when you need a lot of port area.Ugh.
