not enough juice??

can someone please help?

ive got 2 500W Clarion 12's hooked up to a 600W Kenwood amp.

when i have my bass turned all the way up the subs hit hard but only for a short while.

after a short while depending on how long it runs the subs stop hitting in the deep spots

they only hit on the less deep bass.

im thinking the amp is not getting enough juice from the battery and it cannot power the subs as well as it should.

what can i do to fix this. would a capacitor help?

please help.

no a cap wont help.......we need to know a little more info...how are the subs wired....how large of a wire are you running for them......and so forth

ok honestly i dont know alot about car audio

my moms boyfriend hooked everything up while i watched but the subs werent hitting right

then his son who is my age re hooked up the subs

he twisted the 2 wires that go to the red hookup and hooked them into the red hole on the right side of the box then he did the same to the black wires and hooked them up in the black hole on the right side of the box.

i was surprised that it worked

he said that it was running 600W to each sub that way

i am highly confused and i cant remember what kind of wire i got

i think it might be 4

if you got a 600w amp, its impossible to have 600w running to both of the subs at the same time. 4 ga wire is perfect. i dunno what could be wrong, it could be a number of things
