For SQ, I love to listen to Dream Theater. They have tons of subtle sounds in the background that you won't even hear on lesser systems.

Liquid Tension Experiment also has some pretty great stuff if you like instrumentals.

Sarah McLachlans's song "Angel" from the City of Angels soundtrack is excellent for testing vocals.
