How to wire a rockford 700's

Ok... i have a rockford 700's with two 12 inch mtx thunder 8000's dual 4 ohm subs. Now both subs came with a paper on how to wire the subs. But as of now im not using the other 2 coils. Im just using two on each sub so im doing a single voice coil wiring.

Theres an option to wire 2 subs.

It says

With speakers wired in parallel:

Two 4 ohm speakers will present a 2 ohm load----- thats what i did but it isnt working i dont know why any help?

But u cant do a 2ohm load with dual voice thats why im doing svc wiring i dunno wut to do

ok what you do is this wire for a 2 ohm stereo load which means take one sub wire the vc's in parallel take the other and do the same then simply connect one sub to the left channel and the other to the right channel=2 ohm stereo load.

you think it will be compatible with that amplifier man so if its a 700's series ill be pushing 350 x2?

yeah it'll be pushing 350 per channel.how much are your subs rated at in RMS wattage?

Worked good. Cept that my box is sealed if i had a ported will it sound harder?
