well my refund from being scammed is currently being processed.

i need to figuere out what kind of subwoofers i would like to run.

here's how things break down:

i have 1k to spend, it needs to include, sub or subs, amplifier, wiring kit (0 gauge) and materials to build a box.

my previous setup was an 18"Q in 6.5 cubes tuned to 32 htz, i loved the low end it had but it was missing the higher frequencies and didnt blend well with my front stage. My best friend at school is currently running 2 8" subwoofers sealed and i also love the way his sound. Very punchy and hits you right in the chest.

I listen to about 60% rap 40% rock/metal.

i would be willing to do either a single sub setup, or 2 or 3 subs if the budget will allow it...

i am leaning towards the kicker 0 gauge kit so that will cost around $100 if im not mistaken.

lastly i would like to stick away from FI as it was used in the last setup i had and i like to try a bit of everything

front stage as you can see from my sig is rainbow vanadium phase plugs run off 200 watts....because this is a single run of 0 gauge with no electrical upgrades i would like to run 1500 watts or less....big 3 will be done shortly after this install.

more or less i want the lows of the 18" or close to it....and i wanna be able to feel it in the chest like the punch of the 8's...but im off to bed ill check this thread in the morning

well two 15" RLP's would be 508+ shipping.....

i dont think i have the electrical to run two icon 12's....

if i did 3 12's what would my final load be ohm's wise....and then i need an amp suggestions as well....i guess the 3 of the them would sound good with around 1200 or so watst on em

id like to do 4....but i only have a width of 42 inches...
