Alpine 9885

I'm new to this forum. I just bought an Alpine 9885 for my 04 tahoe that I bought about 2 weeks ago. I had a set of 10" kicker comp cvr ( or something like that) in my old truck. Put these in my tahoe. Now my question is, does anyone know how I would need to adjust my cd player to get the most out of my speakers. I'm also new to the whole speaker thing i guess you would say. The speakers sound like crap in my old truck but so far I have been very pleased with them in the tahoe. That cd player, alpine 9885, has so many options and I don't know where to really get started fine tuning. I have adjusted them as best I know how while I was working at the fire department yesterday, but still feel like they could be a WHOLE lot better.
