but purchasing insurance with an act of terror clause for a national symbol and landmark that has been attacked in the past does not seem questionable to me in the least

The bottom line is the SUPPOSED purpose of existence is to help ourselves and each other. We threw the each other part out. Think about the direction society is headed. Style over character, and style is expensive. Think about the cost of living for some, not the money that is spent, but what sacrifices are made for that money. Well I am sure that you can see that, as far as credibility goes, there is a huge difference in what you are saying happened on this issue and what the real whackos claim happened with the destruction of the buildings in the first place.
