North American Union? F*ck that

That's funny, you have more trust in the market than the government, but what is funny is the market is ultimately controlled by the government, but I know that is not what you learned in grad school. Maybe when you get out in the world you realize how it really is.
Why do you think everything I tell you I learned in grad school. Most of the better investors do not go to grad school. Basic understanding of markets is easily obtained at a high school level. The shit isn't that hard.

The government attempts to control the market but they can't. The government doesn't really want recessions for political purposes.

Did you think the government could stop LTCM from investing one trillion dollars in russian bonds?

Did you think the government can prevent markets from making structured secuities. Most government officials don't even know what a PSA rate is or why it's important. They just know that people are complaining. I never come across that "I am in grad school so I > *". I share my experiences of successes as well as failures. If I dropped out of HS, what would you say then?

I am still trying to find this real world. I would think I am very in touch with the real world...or atleast how it effects me.

Share one of these truths please.
And don't go for the moon landing crap or the US was behind 911 crap. Those have been done to death.
here http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/bushswar/ there are several high ranking military and government officials speaking out on what really happened, or the truth, but you don't want to hear/see a credible source, you'd rather just discredit the source then listen to what is being said.

I didn't mean people who don't believe in conspiracies are just afraid of the truth. I was actually stating that maybe it is better not to know the truth, as some people in the thread have suggested. It's not like knowing it can really change it, and it really is nice to just enjoy life and eat the steak, like the guy in the matrix.
And it does take work to decipher the possibilities and the bullshit, and even that is limited to our experiences. It's still a guess in the end, about everything, because we can't experience everyones point of view or perspective.
Cheese, kind of reminds me of the wife who refuses to admit that her husband is having an affair - even after she found the proof for herself. If she/they don't have to admit it, then they think it makes it false. Whether it is admitted or not, the fact remains the same...

And what is she supposed to do with this newfound information?

My only question is how many skyscrapers have insurance for plane crashes? Do most of them have it or few have it?
majority do not, as they are out of the flight paths...but for some odd reason this new owner just "knew" he might need it one day...

I wouldn't even know where to begin...
And even then I am not sure I could trust the source.

You seem to have much time on your hands for that type of research. In the meantime, I will finish this 12 pack of coors light until my gf (the one in my avatar) comes home and we have great ***.

But you are in grad school and so brilliant and called him out earlier about knowing how to do, I think you called it "proper research," but then you post that you wouldn't know where to begin...

Coors Light - can't be too fvckin smart:)
