Normal for amps to have an odor???

well then...
Do they use glue on them during manufacturing now that slowly burns off or something? I have a BXi2006 that doesn't get hot at all to the touch, but it has like a burning odor that comes from it. I never really played it long enough to tell if it would go away. Just wondering. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

yea...thats normal...I have the same one, and it did it for a while @ first.

I will say, though, if you run it too hard, or start clipping it, the smell will come back and get worse, so if you smell it alot, check that.,

Probably some sort of urethane or silicone on the power supply transformers, or various inductors burning off, or heating up and putting off an odor. I wouldn't recommend breathing heavy concentrations of it, roll down the window, let it air out. Just for the sake of your health.
