Noob question about competitions

What would be a good class for a newb to start in that wouldnt make me go broke

I was thinking about buying a cheap car that would be used for comps only is there any certain car that brings higher numbers in comps remember im a newb at this

And price wise how much would it cost to get your foot in the door on a comp system

can't use a 15" woofer for street A, plus I wouldn't use a MT if you want to be competitive in street class

I someone could lay me out a ruff blue print on what kind of sub amp and other equipment i might need it would be much appreciated

I told the place that i had my system installed about this and he started drooling and was making eyes at my wallet so i would rather order the stuff online and then go to them if i need help installing

I was checking out the DD comps and subs and they looked pretty sexy do the compete well

If you're wanting to go cheap, but get some decent numbers, I probably wouldn't suggest DD, although it is possible to get GREAT numbers with about $500-$600 in DD 8's, my prime example is Louisiana_CRX. Hook some 1508s, or 1008's on to a 2000WRMS x 1 at 1 ohm, and you can get loud as long as you take time with your install and make it right.
