noise and screeches

i have horrible engine noise, and when driving on rough/ bumpy roads i hear extremely high pitch noise coming from speaker and tweeters.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif sounds like static from someone puttting their hand in the front of a tv when it is turned on. the eng noise whirrs as i accelerate getting higher in pitch. this is so annoying. i shaved the gnd spot to shiny silver, paint is like gone. if u need new spark plugs and wires, will or does that have anything to do with it?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Do you have any amplifiers? Running the power wire next to a RCA or speaker wire can induce whinning. The magnetic field from the amps power wire can mess with the signal that is flowing through the other wires. Try to keep the speaker and RCA wires away from the power wires. And don't use cheap RCA cables! ANd try to keep your ground wires as short as possible.

Or you can resort to buying a ground loop isolator if you have to, but I'm not a big fan of using them.

he is right in what he suggested.

here is another idea

upgrade the ground wire from your battery to the frame of the car.

if you are using amps try using the seat belt bolt as a ground.

when hearing the noise of pop use the balance to go left and right to see if it is coming from both sides
