Well MemphisFlex is stating Retail prices on RF so why not compare with retail prices from another company? Makes perfect sense to me. Either way no one in there right mind would pay that much for either sub

Neither makes sense to me. Are we to assume each company has the same mark up between 'cost' and msrp?

Look at my post a 1500wrms amp is retailed at $899 they sell for around $500 like i said, now you go to a dealer and most dealers are close to retail price a lil under to make them look good, nobody pays retail cost i know that, but if you want to compare retail cost then RF still holds strong for over priced piece of shit equipment, there amps **** for what you get, there subs lol best buy loves them so they must be good right?? LOL...when i see RF do something impressive, like TL #s, and a good beast of a amp for a good price, then we will talk!

I can give you a local MTX and Kicker dealer phone number here, 35min away from me, they sell kicker L7 12s for $399 each, and MTX 9500s for like $600 each, and people buy them, so yeah there are people buying subs and audio equipment at retail or close to it, how do car audio shops stay in buisness and make there money, its like best buy $600 freaking dollars for a da*n punch 1000 or what ever that lil b*stard of a amp is, and people buy them! Ebay is good to a point, RF 4000bd is over $1000 new there, dealers $1400-1700 or more, but no warranty and who knows what your getting, i rather call up jacob and order me two SAZ3000Ds that will always do there rated power and then some, and have the reliabilty, for not much more! RF will never be more than a name in the car audio world, thats why you dont see to many people in the lanes using there power or there woofers, the quit making good products years ago! Now everything is built at a cheap over the seas build house!!

I figured it out, you were probly one of those car audio rookies that could not afford RF products and seeing all those rich white kids with RF getting all the attention has caused you some deep scarring. This is the second time Ive seen you quote that sub, and that price, as a measuring stick for 'expensive'. Unfortunately for you, most of us here already know a xxx12 does not go for $1500.

Actually that was the second price I saw the first was like 2000 and even as a msrp price that was LOCO, maybe if it had a lifetime no questions asked warranty

The T15kw draws 300amps max. And how have you come to the knowledge that they only last for burps? That sounds like some BS to me. First off I have seen one in real life being used. Secondly who on this forum hasnt seen SMD use his? Ive seen vids of his running for 5-10min. Last I looked 5-10min was not a burp. Maybe im wrong maybe it was in my immagination that those amps played entire songs while flexing his windows the whole time. Im just going by what a RF dealer told me.

The t15kw draws 300 amps continuously, not max. It is always drawing around 300 amps. You will still need to upgrade electrical for the new lines of amplifiers.

I do all my installations, have done lots of research on RF and are still learning, besides that car audio is like voting you don't have give NOBODY any reason why you like a certain product. You don't see me putting down other companies, I know RF might not be the best but its close. I've been buying RF products for over 10 years know lots of people who have it and are happy, besides all this drama my ears are already messed up that anything stronger than my T2 would mess up my ears. ITS ALL GOOD. ITS ALL ABOUT BEING HAPPY RIGHT

And yet those subs can be purchased, new, with warranty, for a fraction of the price you keep advertising.

Hell, you can get a new 12" XXX for ~500 through the forums...but you also have to keep in mind that there is/was a lot more technology/customization being put into the XXX than the T2.

Who the fuk pays retail. DD Z1a amps retail at $2500 but i see them on here BNIB go for $1200. Same follows with any and all amps (with a few exceptions). RF T40001bds retail is 2799.99 but you can walk in to any store and get it for $1200-$1400 and quite a bit cheaper online.

The Z1a's do not go for 1200 dollars new..not even on here. About 1700-1800 is what the normal price has been. Maybe you're thinking about the Z1 instead?

I hadnt used Rockford for over 10 years, cause I was disappointed with the series of amps they came out with. I loved the Punch 75 and 150 before that. I have been reading alot of good reviews for the T series amp. I finally bought a t10001.bd that replaced my RD 1750.1d. Only paid $250 shipped for it used. I been running it for about 2 weeks now on a set of RE SE12's and I gotta say, it puts out every bit of power that the RD 1750.1 did. Runs cool and doesnt dim my lights too bad. I am very happy and will probably get one for my truck now. Cant vouch for the subs though.

To whomever keeps comparing the prices between the XXX and the RF products...

Can you tell me what the differences are between the products? And yes, there are very large differences between them....there is no other subwoofer on the market like the XXX.
