And if it looks like it's coming off the cone, that's just coincidence. You said it works when you measure the tinsel directly, so it's not that.

I think you'd be best off taking it somewhere or getting pics and posting them up here. You say you have no camera though so that'll be tough. At least we've narrowed it down to the sub though.

And this thread reminds me... I need new fuses for my DMM. I decided to be a wise *** and tried to test the amps from my alt... I knew it wasn't gunna work. but I thought "why not?"

if my amp isnt in protect mode then my speaker terminals should be fine correct? im kinda paranoid now that my amp is messed up lol.
