i was messing with my amp settings yesterday trying to use the dmm and set them correctly. i have a 50hz signal playing, unhooked my sub, connected the leads for the dmm. needless to say im retarded and finally figured out i was adjusting the bass boost instead of the gain (it was dark) and got it adjusted. then i hooked my speaker wires back in but now my sub isnt playing. amp is not in protect, fuses are all good, the subs just arent getting power i guess. i dont know. any help???

u mean rewire the speaker wire? i took the sub out of the box and made sure everything was still hooked up.

that amp came out of a customers car that was used 6 months

i checked amp prior to shipping to you

you said amp was working 3 days and now it is not working

you said green light is on and amp is not in protect

check your ground on amp

also how many , what kind, what voice coil configuration is your sub stage

i know what he needs to do but i was explaing to him as he is pm'ing me

he said he has power coming out of amp

i told him to check each coil on the sub and see if his mach 5 dvc 2 ohm sub is reading 2 ohms on each coil

i feel he should have NOT started to set gains with a dmm if he never used a dmm

he should have

installed everything

turn radio volume to 30 more or less

than put in a cd with a bass song he is familiar with

than gently raise gain from nothing till it starts booming well

if amp has a 0-180 phase, adjust that from 0 than 180 see if you get the sub moving

you said you had sub and amp going for 3 days now nothing

why did'nt you pick up the phone and call me with the 5 business cards i sent you and ask me
