No Sound Please Help

hello im josh,

i just got my roomates old car as mine just died as he bought a new car, its a 02 sunfire. well he had a system in it no sound tho the amp was done. i didnt want the system i have a nice dvd deck and nice alpine speakers so i removed his system amps older speaker subs deck etc. and installed my deck and my speakers. i wired the speakers back to the original wiring and my speakers are the same as factory no subs. for a day and a half they worked great then i went to pick my wife up from work and back to no sound......

does anyone have any clue to why this happened i havent found a loose wire yet and it is all 4 speakers that went silent and they all did work

check for striped wires that may be crossing eachother or grounding out on bare metal etc, check your ground wires, and check settings on your deck. make sure that your constant and ignition wires are correct. that would cause the player to loose its settings that you made. check the pos and neg speaker connections both on the deck and at the speakers. does your deck have a protect mode? some decks do and if the speaker wires cross or whatever, then itll turn it self off and maybe back on. mine does. anyways check all those things and let us know if it solves the problem or not.

Im not sure if my deck has a protect feature ive tried a dvd its only sound that doesnt work.i have tried settings they are all fine. I resanded the floor where i made the ground to take that problem off. I guess ill pull out the harness double check the connections which sucks cause i have 2 units to my deck and alot of wiring between them... Ill let you know how it goes thank you

Ok so i have rechecked all the wires fuses grounds etc everything is fine so i rewired for the old deck again and it was fine... So it my deck but is it a fixible problem? It seems the deck is not sending the logic to the speakers
