No sound from sub after putting in working headunit, please read help.

Heres the deal. I took my totally working fine dvd headunit from my car and put it in my wifes car but there is no sound from her sub which was working 10 minutes prior. Her sub is one of those Infinity Basslink subs with the amp built in and it comes on so i have the remote wire right and the only other wires are the RCAs which were working just fine 10 minutes prior to me putting in the deck in her car.

It just doesnt make sense, no fuses are blown, all wiring is fine and working. Now, the dvd player was powering two JL 10s' in my car just fine, but is there some reason the deck wont power her single sub, like an ohm issue or something?

Does the new deck have a subwoofer control that you have to turn on and off? On the deck can you access the sub controls and change them? If you cant then change them you will need to find a way to turn the subwoofer on.

Make sure your in the right RCA.

Do you have power at the basslink?

Yes it has a subwoofer control, i have messed with it every which way, the same way i had it in my car. There is power at the basslink and i have put the RCAs' in every position possible, i even tried a Y adapter to just see if maybe that would do something. Its really weird.

plug in a different source with rca's to the sub see if it works
