I decided to play the 'nobody's gonna tell me what to do!' new-to-car-audio game, and tune my 15" L7's to 42hz, needless to say, everyone on here was right, they sound like poop.
But anyways, now i need a new box, and the only knowledgable sound shop in the area stopped doing boxes, which was century 2000, who made me my gigantic 10.6cf box for $159.... Unbeatable.
But now their builder quit, or went out of business, or something, and i have no (worthy) box.
Looking for someone who will build or knows WHO would build the following box for pickup around cleveland or akron, or reasonably close.
41" wide x 28" deep x 17-20" tall, for said L7's, tuned to 35hz. Subs firing up, ports firing back. Height is flexible, but width can be no bigger, and depth can be no longer either, want 4.5cf NET per speaker. Port to rear, and also box-to-seatback distances are already taken out of the 28" maximum depth.
If anyone knows who can do a good job in the area, for reasonable $$$, let me know!!!
Thanks.
