No midbass on left side?

I got a little problem. My left side mids only play midbass when the balance is centered. When put all the way to the right, the midbass is strong (as it should be, for focusing on one side) in the middle, they both play, not as loud (as it should be) but all the way to the left, nothing. What could cause this problem?

are you using a 4 channel amp??

where are you sitting when its "not as loud"

If all wiring is correct, then it might be a phase issue, which flipping the polarity on one side might help.

This, reverse the wiring one of them and see if it helps.

not sure that would help when he says that fading all the way to the left causes the midbass to disappear (only 1 mid playing) but it's possibe the left mid MIGHT be out of phase with the sub, so that might possibly help. The door might also be poorly sealed on the left side.

No sub. And even if the door wasnt fully sealed you would still be able to notice midbass. But there is none. No bass at all to speak of, really, when balanced to the left side.

the only thing i can think of is one speaker is out of phase i use a rockford phase checker to make sure my speakers are in phase it plugs into the rcas and sends out a pusle that the sensor picks up green means in phase red out of phase

Guess it would have to be the right side that is out of phase. Which seems weird, cause its the left side that is having problems. I say right side because the factory wires that I run to the x-overs are both green, the left side are standard black and red wires. I'll check it monday sometime
