Nitrous in! pix and vids

Yes, my goal is mid 12s when im done with my daily. Im sure once that is accomplished, I will want more, but its a start..
Well good luck my friend it will be an accomplishment to say the least, BTW Alpine dude i like your GTO what tires are those?

i see no plans for FI.
without that and/or rebuilding the motor, all your efforts will be in vain in that car... still though, id be interested to see how your ET's improve or your 0-60's with each jet //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

why would he need plans for fuel injection when it is already fuel injected. If he has already upgraded the fuel pump and changed plugs that will be sufficient for now, much more than what you have you need to get some larger fuel injectors, if that is an option on the crown vics...(roughly the same motor as the 96-96 mustang gt's)

i think you mean a WOT switch.
Thats exactly what I have. My nitrous only kicks in when I go wot. My kit came with all that. bottle warmer is the very bottom switch. The purge is the top right, and the nitrous arm switch is the top left.

you dont spend alot of time around cars, do you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I could care less weather they think its slow or not, I know what my car is capable of. Its running 13s, soon to be low 12s. Not to bad if you ask me... No excuses..
Your car isn't running 13's man, you have no way of knowing that when you have already said in this thread that you haven't taken it to the track. I would say very very low 14's, and before it is said, i'm not hating or whatever. I like the way the car sounds, and seems to run strong for what it is. Props for being different, but you got a long way to go for 12's man. i have had many drag/street cars/trucks that i have raced. the track and low et's are a lot harder than just bolt ons. You will need better suspension better tires, a ****** to hold more power/weight, probably a stall would be really beneficial, and some 4:10 to 4:30 gears in the rear of that car would make a large difference b/c they would ge that weight moving.

Once again Props btw.

are you serious. What do you/have you owned? That car is already fuel injected, or can you not see that?

I went this past weekend... fyi I will see if I can find the time slip, and scan it. My tires run great for what they are, but I will have some mt streets for the drag strip.. I will be running 373 gears, anything larger is rediculous for the highway usage.. The suspension is fine for now, and I have a stall coming in, along with ***** work. They are being built as we speak. Also the upgraded drive shaft aswell.

Im hoping to run low 14s without nitrous when its all said and done.. Their is one guy running 14.2 without nitrous, only bolt ons, and no weight reduction either.. Pretty impressive..

what i have is irrelevant to the conversation. what is relevant to the conversation is the fact that FI does not = fuel injection.

So you are stating that nitrous is not a means of forced induction? No kidding, but he had already stated that his plans were just the nitrous.

You still haven't said what you have had etc., other than being an internet warrior that warrants or validates all this so called experience you have with cars.

If so that really good. Before i made the post about the gears etc., i hadn't read all the pages, guess i shoulda done that first.....lol

I would put more than 3.73's in that heavy car with an automatic. There is a device you can use to adjust your speedo on that car if i am not mistaken.

BTW>.....the turbo crown vic that you posted was a sick car........when the marauder first come out they had one with a kenne bell blowzilla on it at fun ford weekend, it outran me at the track (inspired me to do more work to my past mustang)

Yes, I will need a speedo gear to make the adjust ments.. Still, 3.73s are good for these cars.. This car isnt as heavy as some may think. yes 3900 pounds is decently heavy, but look at pretty much all the older cars, and alot of the newer cars, they all weigh a ton. challenger, charger, 300c, 350z, ect.

Thanks, Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's.

If the car is a DD, I wouldn't do anything bigger than 3.73's in an auto IMO.
