Well thats because my car is really not track worthy. High 13s isnt anything to brag about, but ive certainly surpised a few cars with my vic, with the minor mods ive done.. Before I get gears, and do more ***** work, Ide like to have more power to work with n/a. That is why ive got my eye heavily on that 10k engine haha. 7500 for my engine rebuilt/ forged is rediculous. For 3k more, I could have a 400hp n/a engine, with forged internals.. Then I could run a 300 shot of nitrous or whatever.

Maybe I'll see you there this year. I usually go to Knoxville Drag, but since I parted my car out I probably won't be there as much this year. There are no 1/4 mile tracks around here sadly.

now your talking.......i would suggest running a mustang setup on the motor, and then just swap ecu's. and harness'. That would allow you to tune very easily.

if ya ever come to La, i'll run ya at the track. B2200 single cab, air bagged, big wheels, and a sub box that takes up half the bed with 4-12s. I wont have nearly the hp...but you wont embarrass me.

Have you gotten your timeslip yet? I just don't see that car being 13.7's even with the shot and I am basing that off your videos. Mine is 14.2 and from 60-100 mine looks like it goes faster and tha is with out NOS. So I am not sure I believe you, but video's are not always accurate.

why are they a rip-off?

They are known for kicking out quality short blocks etc. for the modular powered cars, and have a lot of proof of their work. If you mean expensive, you get what you pay for
