Jeep transmission.

Trying to find parts for my transmission in my 1997 jeep cherokee 4x4 4.0......Well ***** says model number is 30- 43re. Above that says its an asain built *****.

Go to jasper just to look up there ***** all they list is...AW4 Aisin Warner and the 42re chrysler *****...

All the places I been to for rebuild kits all say those two ***** none have said the 43re thats on my tran's tag....

What Im think and what others have told me is that the AW4 ***** is the 43RE. just wanted to see if any one else had experience with this....I do have a full RPO code list on my 96 jeep but havent found it as of yet.
