nissan titan steering controls

does anyone know if nissan leaves the wire for the steering wheel controls even thought its not installed?

i have a 2008 nissan titan it has the midline system but it didnt come with steering wheel contorls. i want to get the controls but im no sure if the wire harness is already there. or not and if ots not is there any other way of getting besides going to nissan? (too expensive) thank you.

some aftermarket HU's you can buy an adapter for steering wheel controls that they actually give you something that mounts to the steering wheel and controls the deck. i dont have an answer to your question but i would think they would leave it there. i mean they dont start on the line knowing what options are going on. tear it apart and look
