Ok so its been awhile since I've had any type of problems with my system and such but anyhow, here goes. There are times where my bass seems to get quieter in the middle of a song. I dont really know how else to explain it but it just doesnt hit as hard. There have also been a few times where it has totally shut off for a second or two. Ideas?

Your amp is probaby getting too hot. Some amps will reduce power to try and cool down a little and then if they don't they shut off. Check and see if the amp is hot when it starts to sound quieter.

check your voltage during play, and then on one of these songs and see what it does when the dbz drop......i would guess you have a drop in voltage

also check output voltage at the amp at full power and again when the drop occurs

yeah sounds like a drop in voltage to me too. your battery might be starting to slip or your alt just can't keep up anymore. go somewhere that does batteries and see if they can get you a load test/batt test

the voltage hovers around 14V and dips down on huge bass hits to maybe 13.5ish and immediately hops back up

i went for a quick ride and it totally cut out for 1-2 seconds, voltage meter didnt move like at all
