[I Like Waffle]

Im doing a build in an 89 Maxima this coming up week, no pics yet but this is what i have so far, feel free to voice your opinions on the equipment i chose as well. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Basically what ive picked is according to their budget of 600$ and they wanted a loud clean sounding setup. This equipment isnt definite yet though, however the subs, amp, HU is. Im going to talk to them tommorow and see about doing a 5 1/4 comp set up front rather than just dropping in 4x6s, and see what they wanna do about spending more money, i atleast wanna talk them into a somewhat decent front stage.

Head Unit - Pioneer Premier P400UB

Front Speakers - Infinity 2 way 4x6

Rear Speakers - Most likely cheap pioneer 6 1/2

Sub Amp - Crunch P1100.2 Or P1000.1 (1000.1 will most likely be way too much for the 10s, probably will go with the 2 channel.)

Subs - 2 10" Ma audio 101xq. Rated 250/500 DVC 4 ohm

Box - 3 Cubes tuned to 38hz

Misc - Rewiring car with 16g, big 3 in rockford 4g.

I thought id get a fail, but i just wanted to start the build log and get you guys opinions on the equipment i chose really, i thought i did decent. Basically out of this build my expenses are

Radio + dash kit - 120

Amp - 100

4 Speakers - 60

Amp wiring - 20

Speaker wire - 10

Subs + mdf - 90

For some reason I enjoy working on older cars. Maybe it's how easy it is to wire things up YA! thats it everything is easier in a older car. Going to be a nice build. Take lots of pics.

yea old cars are def the easiest most of the time, usually dont have to drill at all. Plus you can basically ground shit anywhere, lol. This maxima should be a fairly easy install, im looking forward to it.

I used to have a '95 maxima gxe and i friggin loved it, bose sound system and everything, once i got that running, it sounded SO good! there were amps on all the speakers so it had some mad bass for being all stock. I'm content with my accord right now though, I just need to get me an amp and some boxes for my subs, and some wire. Can't wait to get that in there! I'm looking for a Rockford P300-1 or a good Alpine 500w or so amp or a Kenwood KAC-8104d. Any of those amps I'd be very happy with. I'm looking to spend $100 on it, but I will go as far as $125 shipped, so if you got something for me, let me know!

I feel ya bro.. Used to have a 96 gxe, loved that car. Totaled it driving in the snow last January. Now every time I see a 4th gen. Maxima I can't help but stare lol.
