Yea very hard to cut through a random wire while installing an alarm. Most of your wires for an alarm installation are right in the steering column. Specifically on OP's truck. A select few are in the driver kick panel. Guy at BB should rethink his job posistion . OP, Which side of your truck were your RCA's ran down?wtf were they doing cutting random wires?
especially a wire that looks like an rca. id hope they would know what it looks like. exactly. back then, circuit city ONLY soldered. every single electrical connection had to be soldered.It is funny when people dis Chain store 12v techs. When I worked at smaller more high end shops I saw guys come from and go to chain stores. Some of them knowing enough to get by and some with mecp certs and a lot of knowledge. The same applied with people from other shops. The funny thing is back then~2000, circuit city actually had pretty decent standards, atleast around here. There was a lot of stuff you could get away with at the smaller shops that they would shitcan you in a heartbeat for.
