Nice Looking Ipod Control Head Unit with Screen

I really like the idea of being able to plug my ipod in and control it and view album art, videos ect on the screen, and it seems like the Alpine iDA-X305 does all of that very well, but it sticks out like a sore thumb.

I have a feeling i'll end up getting it anyway, but i'd really like a better looking option. I saw a clarion one on their site, that actually looks really nice IMO, but its is not only expensive, but not readily available.

And JVC makes one in that style also, but I'm not really impressed.

I actually like it quite a bit too, and being able to play Cd's would be sweet.

I just found that same link... I guess its an extra 100$ for the clarion, and it doesn't have as nifty of ipod controls, but it looks better, and plays Cd's

And actually that CDA-7995 is on Ebay as we speak if your really interested, its going for 100$ at the moment, but its got 6 days left till it ends:

I'm heavily considering this one now. I'm a bit nervous about soundstream, but it looks like people dont mind them too bad, and i remember they made decent amps and subs a while back.

But anyway, i has touchscreen control, looks decent, and i could even add of navigation later if i wanted

Any feedback on the built quality/functionality or anything?

I probably would go with the PA, although i think i like the look of the GUI on the Sounstream better, but it inst worth the extra 50$

They are nice quality. Next tear the Car Video department of Soundstream will have there own lines and not share with any of the other Epsilon Electronics company's (PA, SPL, Kole, PPI, Fahrenheit) If you buy authorized its worth it to Go Soundstream as they have a 2 year Warranty all the other Epsilon company's only offer a 1 year on there car video items.
