Nice decent sound without subs?

I would suggest you have a plan from the begging, know what you are gonna buy and when, just don't piece things together or the probability is you wont be happy with it.

The $150 was for speakers only. I'm only running between 80-125 watts to the mids so I don't see why that wouldn't work still.

I'm still here. Try running 120 watts to a mid playing a 30 hertz sine wave, not good. Depending on what you listen to you may end up bottoming out the mid and damaging the former or mis aligning the coil.

you could also look at these for mids with that seas tweeter. then pick up maybe a 6.5" sub(s) to enclose in the back doors or one under a seat...

I'm at work! All I am saying is that you will need to run a crossover if you want to give a mid that much power.

I don't know how much bass you expect out of a little 6.5 woofer but it seems you are shooting for deep bass and it isn't very realistic.

No chance of you running a small ported woofer somewhere in the vehicle?

He doesn't want subs, and if he did I wouldn't reccomend edud.

I would reccomend something small with large xmax that can handle power and works well in a small sealed enclosure.

Thats cool, Its just he wants good sound, that means a good comp set crossed over low 60-80hz and a subwoofer.

And I dont reccomend garbage, I mean edud.

just because you dont like ed doesnt mean their garbage....many people on here have been very satisfied with their products..Im not going to start an argument about this but for $100 shipped he would be satisfied if hes just looking for something to produce some bass and not take up barely any room.

Subs in a enclosure are out of the picture right now. I'm not looking for a front stage that will provide the full sound system effect. Just a good sound that is to be expected from a front stage. I'm not too concern with the low end right now.

However I am still considering actually putting some nice 6.5 subs in the back door. I can't even tell the factory speakers are there now because of the factory front stage, so why not just put the subs there. I got a Galant and a Tahoe as well so I plan to keep my Titan nice and simple.
