Next step with my system - Help needed

Hi

Currently Im running an Alpine CDE-9850Ri with a set of Focal Polyglass 165 V1 components in the front and stock speakers in the rear.

Im now looking to upgrade my system further to add more bass with what I think is the best option of a subwoofer and amp.

My basic idea is to add a sub and a 4 channel amp of which I would bridge 2 channels for the sub and use the other 2 channels for my fronts.

I have done quite a bit of searching and after a trip to my local car audio store am looking at a JL Audio e4300 along with a JL Audio W3V3 in either 10" or 12".

Is this a good way to "finish" off my system???

Are these products good bearing in mind my budget or could a better set up be suggested?

Am I doing the right thing having a 4 channel amp and bridging 2 channels?

Help would be greatly appreciated.

I would think so just as long as you have enough power to push your sub.

The suggested setup will put 220W rms through a 300W rms sub

As long as you got enough power they should hit good but u should get rid of the stock rear speakers do and add some nice after market ones in 2

Wasnt planning to get new rears, just cut them out.

I hardly ever have rear passengers and even if I do Im more concerned about how it sounds to me, the driver, than anyone else.

Can anybody make any suggestions/comments on the sub and amp I was looking at please?

I have been quoted £500 (around $900) for the amp, sub and all cabling etc, so around that figure.

I want my fronts amped and a amped sub for that sort of money.

Im back looking at this as now have a suitable amount of money to spend?

What other amplifier brands should I look at? Ive heard are good, but very bad value for money...
