There's no perfect sub, there are many good ones on the market, each catering to different customer seeking different output. For instance, the last sub I had was an Incriminator Audio Flatlyne 18". Only 750wrms, but it's more efficient than this other driver with 2000wrms. That allows me to not have to run as much power to be loud. And that was also the cleanest, softest bass I've ever had. So many different and good subs out there, that were designed to cater to each different customer's needs.

There is so much more to subwoofers than excursion and power handling. That is not the only way they're evolving. Shallow subwoofers that actually make bass in tiny enclosures are evolving as well, and this applies to a much broader market segment. Who can have a huge enclosure when you have a family to haul around?

What other company is spending there own money and making frames that can hold 12" spiders and allow 6" of excursion.also sundown making the x zv4 nsv3 and team motors. There's not just open a catalog from over seas and pic a motor, Jacob spends time and money pushing the envolope. Every other company just goes and buys off the shelf woofers... And other company's have pre orders and ppl don't get woofer for like 7months "dss". And skar shouldn't even be mentioned with there shotty subs an copying sundown, I don't know anyone that runs skar. Idk how they stay in business.
And please don say DD audio because there site is full Of lies and that 95j specs are false.

According to Jacob at sundown, DD are liars and there subs can't move 47mm one way linear. So I call bullshlt... His quote was
They didn't claim it can ACTUALLY move that far -- after all a BL rating only means just that... motor + coil only.

They do claim 42.5mm one-way suspension travel... I feel like that is a bit exaggerated; would love to see the curves on it at that point if it did.

Jacob can't do it so I guess a brand that's been building some of the best subs for the last 20+ years can't do it.

DD nut huggers are stronger on this forum. I never said DD is bad, I feel there just average company. They been around forever but so has Pyle and Jensen.

Ive owned every subwoofer that was mentioned up there as "mainstream" records dont mean anything if you dont care about competing. just because you arent breaking "records" doesnt make any sub better or worse mentioned. Fi, sundown, dc, the list goes on isnt breaking "records" but for my daily application for music some of there drivers spark more interest in others. Me personally Ive ran the AQ and DDs they lack low end. Not my driver of choice for music so there the records dont mean anything in that aspect every DD owner wants to throw out and say every time.. If hey were so great for every application every one would be running them.\

Speaking of Pyle, I met the founder, Mark Pyle. I did not know Pyle was a major player in bringing subwoofers into cars. According to his story, he and some guys brought the first car to CES that had subwoofers. Everyone thought they were insane.

Lack the low end lol ya my 9512is had a fs of like 30hertz and all I listen to was decaf .. You clearly have no clue what your talking about .. Or you ran some old *** dd subs .. I've ran pretty much every brand you mentioned .. Liked basically all of them .. But nothing has performed like the dd's .. Ya there pricey .. I understand why alit of people don't want to justify it but your just posting nonsense they lack low end blah blah lol I can see right through you bro
