Newbie with New Project

Hi, My name is dave and Im new to this forum. I have minimum experience with car audio, component speakers, subs, amps and such. Ive kind of been out of it for a few years but have recently bought a 2010 camaro 2LT with Boston Acustics stereo system and would like to add a subwoofer to it. Im thinkin this is the place to learn and discuss before I open my wallet. After a few days researching Im thinking about a Image Dynamics 10" IDQ v3 with an JL Audio 500/1 v2 amp in a subthump sealed box. I mostly listen to rock and blues so SQ is most important. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

i wouldnt do the JL amp. better can be bought for the same or less money.

I would go with the set up you posted above. Simple, but sweet. ID makes great sq subs and although JL is overpriced they make a clean amp. I'd go with that...Next question???
