Hey guys! I'm a newbie to car audio and just bought a 2008 4 door Silverado and decided I needed to upgrade my stereo components. So on amazon I bought my setup and though I understand its a lower end system I was wondering what you guys thought of it. Also any ideas of what I will pay for a shop to install all the componets? Thanks a ton for your help!

You should have asked before you bought //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
So your saying what I bought is ****?

I have the option to return anything. Please remember this is my 1st system ever besides the crap stock steroes in any vehicles I have owned. I'm really just looking for a good reliable system not the best system as I know I have alot to learn before I really jump into the car audio game. What I bought had great reviews so I was thinking I made a good choice. Also on installation is that something I could do myself? I need to re-wire everything correct? Any idea on the wiring I should use.

Thanks for helping a newbie guys!

Ok for all that equipment I paid around $550 so you can help me replace at around that rate?

**** I thought my stuff was pretty good as a low level system.

Well Id appreciate the help then guys. I'll just return all this equipment. So basically I have a 2008 crew cab silverado and I want a decent system. I want to spend somewhere near $500-$700 on a head unit, speakers, amp and sub. thanks!

I'm sure we can work with something arous that... For speakers do a front 6.5 component set and leave te rears as stock or to add later... A deck find something with 3 sets of 4 volt preouts but 2 volt should be ok... Amp and sub we will look around for used... We need to know how much space you have for a box?

Not a bunch of space for a box as I have that Silverado Crew cab.....either under the seat or behind the back seats?

Also on the deck and speakers..you have any reccomendations at ones you see online?

Sub - DCON-12 S4 if short on space I know U can fit this under the rear seats with no issue - http://www.soundsolutionsaudio.com/store/products/DCON%252d10-S4-%E2%80%93-Sound-Solutions-Audio-10%22-300W-Single-4%252dOhm-DCON-Series-Subwoofer.html

amp - (-NEW-) DB Drive A4 4100 4-Channel 800 Watt RMS Amp With Bass Knob | eBay

6.5's - MASSIVE AUDIO VK6 6-1/2" 250W V-Series Car Audio Component Speaker System 6.25" | eBay

I assume ur 6x9's is for ur rear and if so just leave whatever u have in there now and run off HU power not worth messing with. That leaves u about $300 for HU and wires and box which should be no issue.
