15's. If you want a lot of bass. I know this car very well, as I have owned 3 and installed systems in bout 1000 of them. Relatively cheap budget, go with 2-15" kicker cvrs. Custom ported box(not prefab) kicker zx1000.1 would pound them. You could save a few bucks by going with a power acoustik amp(cheap&decent). But I would stay away from bamf series. I see a lot of problems with those. Might have enough money left over to get some highs, depending on where you shop and how much the box costs you.

Check my pics. I posted up some of a box Chevy I did bout a month ago. It's a Lil older than yours but same trunk size. Do you have 2 or 4 door?

I've built many stereo systems. Cvrs have a lot of excursion for mid grade sub and are fairly good efficiency. I'm pretty sure he's not gonna get 4-18" Fi and a addictive audio amp or something outrageous on a budget of $1000. BTW, I didn't see you guys recommend anything, only talk smack about what I did.

I have a 4-door and I was thinking about doing 4-15" SA or maybe 4 -12" SA
