Hey everyone, new to the site! Right now i have 2 12 rockford fosgate 250 rms subs in my sealed box, and they're powered by visonic 1000 watt mono amp. I do not like my setup and want to get a 15" type R sub or 2 12" type r subs with a alpine mrp m1000 amp.

what i wanna know is how would i hook up 1) the 15" type R subs to have and impedence of 2 ohmm and 2) how would i hook up the two 12'' subs to have a 2 ohm impedance

and lastly with all things equal ( amp size, and optimal enclosure size for 2 12" subs and 15" type R) which would pound harder? and would a compositor (sp?) help with my dimming lights?

Im not sure if a compositer would be able to help you very much as their field of expertise is typically typesetting (arranging type for printing).

Maybe if you found an out of work compositor and paid them a few bucks to install a second battery for you it would help the dimming and give them a few extra dollars.

jeeze, im a newb with all this electrical stuff. Im sorry i didn't spell it right, but i have another question.. is there an optimum interior volume for 15" sub enlosure ( mounting depth 9 5/8)

Since im full of questions ill ask yet another..//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif lol.. what other subs are there for around 200-400 dollars that have around 1000 watts rms.. any 12's or 15's.. and any amps!

also im not looking for competition subs.. i just want something that will slam
