Newb Help With Dream Car

Hi Everyone....

Ok...I finally saved enough money to get my dream car //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/veryhappy.gif.fec4fed33b4a1279cf10bdd45a039dae.gif and I need help taking the audio to a higher level than what I currently have.

I currently have the following in my Maxima:

Alpine CDA 9835, PPI DCX 600.4, Punch Rockford Fosgate 400.a4, Focal 165K2P (Fronts), Infinity Kappa Perfect 10vq Sub - Sealed Enclosure, Focal 165KP (Rears).

The only items I plan to transfer to new car is the Alpine HU and Focal Speakers.

I haven't been too pleased with the PPI & Sub. The Fosgate Amp is old.

I am in the process of doing research. Could someone please recommend & point me in the right direction regarding what high end Amps & Subs I should consider researching. Are there Amps out there that you heard that basically left you speechless because they sounded incredible. Arc? Macintosh? DL? I haven't a clue. My budget is wide from $500-2K.

Really don't give a sh*t about that though. It is an awesome ride.

You'd be hard pressed not to like Zapco, Tru, Arc, Audison and the likes for amplification...

You just have to figure out wether you want to run your fronstage active, what size you desire your rearstage to be(how many subs/requiring how much power) and go from there.

BTW thats a VERY NICE upgrade...congrats

The Arc XXK sweet *** sweet sound from those amps, even hooked up to an entry level speaker.
