NewB building a box....Need Plans...Will Pay $$$

Hey guys,

I am new to this so bare with me! I am looking to put a sub to get a little more kick out of my Stock Bose radio in my 03 Silverado Ext. Cab. I had a thread going over in the Subwoofer section and i think i know that i will us a Fi Audio 10" Sub with a Hifonics BXi 1206D Amp. First of alll do you guys think that is a decent set up?

Now the box...I have been told by some people on this forum that i should build the box myself instaed of getting it from these guys: http://www.subthump.com/silverado.htm

People have told me that I should build myself a ported box and tune it to 32-34hz. I dont even know where to start. I have good carpentry skills, but the whole porting and tuning thing just makes my head spin. If someone could give me detailed plans iI can do this myself.

Also a little explination on tuning and porting would be great to. Thanks guys!
