Mine is to pay down my student loan.

i'm only at a combined credit debt of about 3500. everytime i bring it down to like 1000 i manage to buy stupid shit and bring it back up. currently paying off the 52" i bought for my dad. i did pay off my 42" and 360 elite.

sad part is i'm looking at a $900 emergency purchase to have something fixed on my car. which is another set back.

Those who actually plan to do it will. I guess it depends on how you feel about New Years. I feel it's more than an arbitrary end of the calendar, but an opportunity to think about the direction of your life for 2009.

Same issue here...as soon as I get close to zero, I jump on a "sale" and there it goes again. In CC debt, I have $2k but I do not pay any interest. It was for appliances when I bought my house. But that and the student loan and I should be good. Although it will take about 2 years to pay off the student loan unless I get a 2nd job.
